Verification standard

Availability is only useful when it is recent, sourced, and verified.

Bed Registry is built around timestamped facility-level availability records. Stale or uncertain data is removed or downgraded instead of being presented as current.

1

We contact facilities daily

Availability checks are sent to nominated facility contacts in active pilot regions.

2

Facilities confirm

Facilities can respond through a secure form, email reply reviewed by the team, or phone workflow.

3

Updates become records

Responses are structured into availability snapshots with source, status, bed type, and notes.

4

Every listing is timestamped

Verified-at and valid-until fields are stored and displayed wherever current availability is shown.

5

Listings expire automatically

If availability is not refreshed, it stops being treated as current.

6

Uncertain data is downgraded

Unknown, stale, or incomplete records are not shown as available.

Facility rights

Facilities can correct details or opt out.

Verification emails include a clear opt-out path. Correction and participation workflows are designed to keep facility contacts in control of what is represented.
