We contact every facility

Every business day, we reach out to all 5,378 registered aged care facilities across Australia. We use a combination of phone calls and email to confirm current bed availability directly with admissions staff.

We collect structured data

For each facility, we record 12 data points: whether permanent and/or respite beds are available, gender requirements, RAD pricing range, whether RAD is negotiable, waitlist status, room types available, specialisations offered, and contact details for admissions.

We update the platform

Verified data is published to our dashboard within hours. Families, placement advisors, and hospital discharge planners can search, filter, and receive alerts based on the latest confirmed availability.

Data freshness

Our maximum data age is 24 hours for facilities that respond. Facilities that don't respond on a given day retain their previous status with a visible "last verified" timestamp so users know how current the data is.
